How do I take care of the truck?

Short answer: Five minutes before you leave and five minutes when you get back. Most breakdowns show up first in a walk-around.

Before you leave

  1. Walk around the truck. Tires, lights, mirrors, leaks under the truck.

  2. Check the cooling unit is running and reading the right temperature.

  3. Check the battery or power system charge level.

  4. Check the awning opens and locks. Look for tears and loose fittings.

  5. Check doors, latches and shelves are secure for driving.

When you get back

  1. Plug in to charge.

  2. Empty, clean and dry the cooler. Leave doors cracked if the manual says so, to stop mould.

  3. Log any issue the same day and send photos or a short video to support. A clip saves the most time.

When to call support

Call 1-866-990-7979, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Eastern, or email support@thefarmerstruck.com. If the truck is unsafe to drive, do not drive it.
