Meet Fred.
Our Founder and CEO.

Raised on a farm, Fred learned the value of fresh food early on. His father’s involvement in affordable housing instilled a sense of community responsibility. To support low-income families, they shared their harvest with tenants, often providing the only fresh produce these families saw for months.

We have big dreams.

Inspired by his upbringing, Fred launched The Farmers’ Truck in 2015 in Moncton, Canada, to address food insecurity in his community. His innovative mobile market truck now aids organizations across North America in bringing fresh, healthy food to underserved communities.

Don’t take our word for it!
Here’s what our customers have to say.

Since 2015, The Farmers' Truck has helped launch or expand numerous mobile market programs across the U.S. and Canada, serving thousands of families every week. Moreover, our innovative mobile produce market vehicles, combined with tailored training and ongoing support, empower communities to address food insecurity effectively.

In addition, we focus on improving access to fresh, healthy food while fostering sustainable solutions. Together, we are building stronger, healthier communities and reshaping the future of food access.
